Crazy Man in Studio City makes Dew sleep in the Comic Shop for the night

STUDIO CITY, Calif. (CNS) -- Police are surrounding an apartment unit in a Studio City complex where a man has barricaded himself, authorities said.

The situation began at 1:50 p.m. at 3900 Riverton Avenue, near Ventura Boulevard, when "a family member reported a man with a gun in a house," Los Angeles Police Department Officer Cleon Joseph said.

"It sounds vague, but it's all the information we have now," Joseph said.

This is where Dew lives. Dew cannot go home. Dew and Dew's Aunt are sleeping in Dew's comic shop tonight. This might be a dream come true to some people... Not to Dew...

extremely high Franklin, we're actually the quiet side of the hills, and something like this is extraordinarily rare. Studio City tends to be considered pretty safe.
