    So, what do you think of that possibility? Somewhere down the line, we find out that 43 year old Leto, is 42 year old Affleck's spandex, shorts wearing sidekick, whom at some point became insane, and assumed the personality of his mentor's most hated enemy...

    I am not against Robin being that broken, but I would personally not like that first version of the Joker in the new DC verse to be Robin.

    If this turns out to be true, then we had better get a scene where Batman chops his head off and the Joker catches it and puts it back on like in The Dark Knight Strikes Again.

    I like the tattoos. I guess I could do without the "damaged" one but it's clearly meant as --gasp-- a joke so I don't see what the big deal is.

    To be fair, everyone thinks this Batman is based on Frank Miller's. Maybe they think it's a DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN sort of thing.

    It's a stupid idea. It only really worked in RETURN OF THE JOKER because Joker was the Joker, and he happened to be mutating Robin into himself.

    This reminds me of the time when someone created a thread in the Sin City forum called "Was Dwight Marv?" after the movie came out. Since Dwight made a comment about having a new face, the Hype poster concluded that he might have previously been Marv. Even though you actually saw Dwight and Marv in the same scene together. Maybe he thought it was Tyler Durden thing or something.
