Considering they do, in fact, decide to use more drawings in the opening credits of Spider-Man 3, which scenes from the second film stand out to you the most, and seem worthy of being depicted by one of comic's greatest artists? (not referring to anyone in particular) Keep in mind we should be choosing very iconic, pivotal points in the plot of the second film, as a kind of re-cap.

Well I breezed through SM2 and got what I felt were important moments, then I weeded through them, but I still was only able to get it down to 18! Here they are

And YES, the CAKE GIRL SCENE MUST BE INCLUDED!!!

i just love that scene.:O

Nice-apart from the Ursula scene. That's not really essential.

I disagree. Don't start the movie showing what's GOING to happen. Plus it would be inconsistent w/the previous film.

Yes, it needs to be scenes from 2. I'm not so sure if I want a Spidey 4, but seeing what an artist like Alex Ross would do with 3's scenes would be amazing.

Oh, and I know a guy named Chris Wallace.

Don't expect Alex Ross to be getting any calls from Raimi for that job...Ross, after doing those drawings, months later saw the movie and dumped all over it...

exactly, thay should use spiderman2 painings for the opening credits just like what they did in spiderman2s opening credits.

I'm still hoping for traditional comic art panels.

Yeah, I know. But he didn't exactly rave over the first one either. And I'm convinced he's more of a DC fan.

It's a fairly common name; I remember once in school I had to put my middle initial on all my work b/c there was another one in my class.

exactly, it would be great if they had a one o the painings be of him swinging away or kissing mj for one of the opening scenes credits paintings.

I really think tht would be awesome( way better than my idea) and I think it should show like a drawing of Topher with a shadow of Venom

for the opening creduts, they should transform these into paintings.

I'd rather they be traditional comic panels, by Bagley or maybe Romita. They've already done paintings.

You know what would be interesting is if, the symbiote is an alien or something, they could showcase its origins through paintings or comic strips as the opener.

Breaks tradition. And I don't think the opening should focus on the symbiote. The title of the movie is "Spider-Man 3", not "Venom Begins".

The symbiote is the whole story of the third... not Venom.

All the movies revolve around Peter, yes. but the story's about how the symbiote turns him into something he's not.

I don't want the symbiote dominating the opening credits like that. To me that's like freezing the Bat logo at the beginning of "Batman & Robin"; it tells you who the star really is, & it's not the hero.

Exactly. I vote they stick with how Spidey 2 did it.

Seeing the Spider-Man 3 art would be one of my only desires for a fourth.

another idea i had for the opening credits is, its red when the credits start, then, as the credits continue, the symbiote starts to cover all the red.
