After being completely floored by british comedies over many years, I just now started looking to the contemporary british crime genra.
First there was SHERLOCK from Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. It was genius.
Then there was LUTHER from Mark Cross with Idris Elba. It too was fantastic.
Then, and where I personally am as we speak, THE SHADOW LINE from Hugo Blick with Christopher Eccleston.
Now, where to go after these three I am inclined to ask? I have seen the first of Branagh's WALLANDER-remakes, but since I come from the originals country where we get about 30 Wallanders/year I'm quite fed up by those hehe
So, lets suggest contemporary british crime series here!
And before anyone mentions it, lets try to ignore Midsummer Murders in this thread shall we
