Is it just me or have all the Marvel movies thus far been based entirely or largely in part on the Ultimate version(s) of characters?

Film characters are their own likeness.
There is no such thing as a 616 or an Ultimate character being in a film.

Why, because of Sam Jackson as Nick Fury? That's still a rumor that's getting weaker and weaker by the day.

I hope Iron Man won't be based on the Ultimate Universe. Brain tumor and brain tissue all over his body? Sheesh that's scary. Although I want to see Ult. Iron Man "I want the end with a bang" attitude - brash, daredevil, and brave. Not the 616 manipulative, totalitarian bastard who keep his agenda deep inside his dark heart.
