With confirmation that Diana is a Demi-God, who do you see playing her father, the almighty ZEUS, King of the Gods and Ruler of Mount Olypmus within the DC Cinematic Universe?

Which other Olympian Gods do you see eventually making an appearance in future films?


My top choice for the role is Dylan McDermott. Best known for his television roles on 'The Practice' (Golden Globe winner), 'American Horror Story', 'Hostages' and currently on 'Stalker'. His most notable film work includes 'Wonderland' 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' and 'Olympus Has Fallen'. He commands a certain presence and authority when on screen. He is very much the cliched dark and mysterious type. He's 52 and stands 6'.

While perfectly cast in the role, it's doubftul he would want to play the same character again (albeit somewhat different). I also fear that the general public will link his performance in the 'Clash of the Titans' flim to that of Wonder Woman's father and possibly see the 2 cinematic world's as related.

So far Zeus has had little or no part in the new 52 apart from a couple of panels. Area has had a much greater impact on WW and that casting will be much more important. That is of course they are following the 52 storyline. I like all of your casting choices Feed. I'd love to see Daniel Day Lewis in her solo either as Ares or Zeus.

Well Winslet does do more than one movie a year, but yeah, maybe not more than one blockbuster.

On a side note, I just remembered that Winslet and Gadot will already be sharing the screen in Hillcoat's Triple Nine. (Woody Harrelson too. Someone's gotta put that guy in a CBM. Hephaestus? Heat Wave?)
