Haha, good one, Stan.

I like Peter's last thought...

I bet he's dreaming NOW...

:woot:

I'm glad my Spidey solution got used in at least ONE venue. Rock on!

This should be how Spider-Man 4 starts... I mean, they've gotta undo the damage of 3 somehow, right!?

Once more, with FEELING!!!!

"YOU GUESSED IT TRUE BELIEVERS!!! WE'VE DECIDED TO BOW TO YOUR WISHES AND HAVE PETER PARKER AND MARY JANE MARRIED AGAIN!"

Ah! Vindication!

That's why he's known as "The Man", ladies and gentlemen!:word:

Stan has always appreciated the fans and doesn't diss us like Joe does. Our opinions matter to him. Which is nice to hear.

When Joe doesn't like our opinions, he resorts to insults, blowing us off, or that we're just people who know how to "type on the internet to complain".

I've been collecting for eons....and Stan is still the classy guy when this is all said and done.

There is a saying...Dance with the one who brung ya'.....and i still maintain, that even more so in such a financially unstable time.....why go with a devisive controversial direction?? Go with the Spidey everyone has always bought and supported. Not a rebooted Pete in a devil created world. Sheesh. I am too logical i guess....AND on the internet...so boo to me!

Sorry, but there is an entirely huge difference between what Stan is handling and what Joe Q is handling. One is an already god in the eyes of fanboys, who is just having fun with a news strip.

The other is holding on and in charge of a multi-million dollar company, so im guessing it might not be the smartest move to listen to what fans feel like complaining about.

Well, that may be true, but he made the choice knowing it would alienate a certain percentage of the readers, and hoping they would eventually say, "Screw it", and just buy it anyway.

Honestly, as I don't read ASM anymore, I hardly care. I'm more against the 3X monthly schedule than I am anything else right now. Even if it gets good, I can't afford an extra 9-12 dollars a month on my pull list. I'll be buying #600, just because it the centennial, but that's about it.
