Wasn't sure if this should go into the comics section or here. My apologies if it is against the rules to post stuff about the Crawlspace site, but I figured this was important.

BD also had this to say:
The archive goes back YEARS, to about the time that Stan started the strip's version of BND (which was later rescinded, and MJ & Pete are married again), the furthest I've seen online for the strip. He has taken the strips down all the way back to October so far. The last strip post was the one he put up for the anniversary for the first week of Spidey strips in 1977 (which was cool to see the Romita Sr art on).
For those that don't know, the writing is still handled by Stan himself and his brother Larry does the weekly art with Alex Saviuk (yes that same Alex Saviuk of 90's Web of Spidey fame) doing doing art for the Sunday strip.
I can seek King Features wanting their syndication money...but that much?
BD posted this on the Crawlspace forums:
So I just got a call from King's Features and they are wanting $120 a month to run the Spider-Man daily strip on the front page. That will be $1440 a year which is a ton of money. Do you think folks would be willing to pay for it? There's no way I can afford that on my own.
Someone did the math:
I agree. If it were $120 a year, sure! No problem!
...but $120 a month? That's robbery, plain and simple.
BD:
That equals to about $3 a strip. I thought about putting a poll on the front page but it sounds like you all dont' want to pay for it.
BD also had this to say:
I guess I could post a link to the newspaper website each day with each days new strip. I just can't show the image.
They also want me to take down my archives because they only want a 30 day archive online. That will be a major pain.
