Daisy Ridley Wants to Play Spider-Woman in Sony-Marvel's Extended Spider-Man Universe

In an interview with USA Today author Sariah Wilson, Daisy Ridley expressed interested in playing Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman in the MCU or Sony depending which route they go, after being heavily fancast for years online.

After asking if Spider-Woman is part of "an extended Spider-Verse thing," Ridley said she would "for sure".

RUMOR: Kevin Feige is Interested in a New Deal with Sony for 'Spider-Woman' in the MCU - MCUExchange There's also this rumor from March of 2020, that Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige were interested and having discussions with Sony to include Spider-Woman and her solo movie in the MCU, much like with Spider-Man.

What do you guys think, is Daisy Ridley a good choice for the role ?

I could totally see this happening. She's perfect age and face for it. Not to mention she's rather athletic. I could see her slaying that role.

Eh, Daisy Ridley was perfectly fine in the only other thing I've seen her in ( Murder on the Orient Express ), so as long as she gets better writing and directing than in the Sequel Trilogy, she would be fine.

I think I like Rey mostly due to Ridley. To me, she makes the character better than what she probably was on page. It's not a particularly well written character, but I do enjoy seeing her on screen. I don't know how much talent and range she has but I do find her charismatic.

This... she gave a pretty blank character a lot of hope, quirks, and honest depth. None of that was on the page.
