well they did Rudd and Douglas' announcements within the same time span, right? that would be my guess. i can't read Wright. but i know that he said that he wasn't sharing any info after filming starts.

Bill Foster. I understand that there aren't that many roles left after Luke Cage is cast. There's still Misty Knight and Monica Rambeau. I hope they show up in the MCU.

Unless somehow, they have the rights to Night Thrasher and GW Bridge and for some reason choose to put both of them in Agents of SHIELD.

i was talking about roles in Ant-Man. there were like 4 main characters in "To Steal An Ant-Man." Pym, Lang, Cross, and Sondheim. even the CTE Guards were more or less faceless. but sure Wright can add whomever he likes. i just wonder if he'd even think of Bill Foster; when the character didn't play into the origins of Scott or Hank. Jan makes it in because they need a female. i hope Bill makes it in. but i wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.

Luke Cage is coming to Netflix, so that's going to be fun. I'd be surprised if Misty isn't a supporting character on one of the Netflix shows. Bill could easily be in this movie.

I think that Evangeline Lilly is playing Janet (if that's who she is, but she could also be Jessica Jones, who I believe has a past with Lang or Erica Sondheim). However, I wonder what would have happened had they cast a black woman (not Rashida Jones, but someone like Gabrielle Union or Taraji P Henson) as Janet. If that happened, I think Pym in the movie would be her god-father and she would be the biological daughter of his best friend, Vernon Van Dyne. Or she's Janet's step father.

true. but it's also the most brilliant piece of casting in this movie; if she is Janet. Sondheim's another issue entirely. I might even suggest that she get her own thread; for the sake of speculation and casting.

I honestly don't. she's not really part of any other hero's supporting cast. and she has a huge Carol Danvers-sized roadblock in the way of being Captain Marvel. I'm not saying that it's impossible to fit her somewhere. just seems unlikely. it would take some writer being a big fan of the character.

I always figured Hawkeye's into anything that moves, breathes and has been female at least once, whether right now or in an alternative continuity.
