Everyone had to know this was gonna turn out to be a HUGE debacle. This was all probably planned ahead as well. Seems like something they'd do.

This is probably the case. Certainly enough clues have been dropped that this is so; they can't be just continuity errors. I'm hoping this is not the case, though, as it would all be rather predictable. Remember how Doofus Rick was subtly implied to be behind Evil Rick, and then the rug was pulled out from under the viewers when it was revealed that Evil Morty was the true puppetmaster? I would love for something like that to happen, though I'm not expecting it.

It's like I stated above. I'm sticking with it FOR NOW because the amount of evidence seems overwhelming, but y'all are more than likely right, and it's gonna cause me to have an aneurysm.

I'm totally with you. I'm more interested in his motivation because he's obviously had some interaction with C-137. There's no question about that, so no twist there, but his motivation is completely in the dark.

Ok...I've OFFICIALLY seen too much. There is a Rick and Morty porn parody, and what's worse is they used the most obviously generic name they could have..."Dick and Morty." A show this amazing deserves better... I can't believe that's the best they could come up with. And of course he's banging Unity which would seem like a perfect opportunity to film and post some WEIRD **** man, but...nope... He didn't even have multiple partners. ?? And for the record...I only watched it for science's sake. I mean...think about how disappointed Rick would have been if I had simply ignored what I came across. "And that's the wayyy the news goes."

Angry nerds yelling and chanting isn't a riot.

I mean, I don't condone that either, but it's always bothered me how sensationalistic media called those "riots". Meanwhile, an actual massive riot happened in Philly earlier this month and no one batted an eye. Then again, I think sports riots get way less negative press compared to political protests or whining about sauce.

Rick and Morty' Scores Massive 70-Episode Renewal

The new deal with Adult Swim is for more than double the amount of episodes that the cult cartoon has already produced.

Rick and Morty fans won't have to worry about renewals for quite a while. Adult Swim just handed out a 70-episode order of the cult cartoon.

Described as a "longterm deal," albeit without any announced time frame, the order is for more than double the count of episodes Rick and Morty has already produced to date. Co-creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have been especially precious about the comedy, spacing out seasons and waiting as long as two years before the most recent run aired.

A Rick and Morty renewal was given, but the extent of this new pact is quite unexpected. Should Roiland and Harmon maintain anything close to their current production schedule, this will keep the show on the air for as long as another decade.
