Dangerous Liaisons: Can a human and a Skrull truly love one another?

The sudden reappearance of "Laura Green" ( aka Lyja Laserfist) who under the guise of Alicia Masters infiltrated the FF( even to the extent of marrying Johnny Storm) has raised much questions. She, despite her earlier deception evidently still has feelings for her former spouse(as he has for her), when she reveals that she was asked to plant a bomb in the FF 's headquarters by the Skrull Empress that would have killed not just her former husband and his confreres but also Franklin and Valeria but refused to do, settling for exiling the FF to the negative zone permanently.

I suspect Johnny and Sue still have considerable ill will towards Skrulls as a race due to the Empire's role in the murder of their father Franklin Richards( hey, it's all right to hate aliens-even in the PC world of the marvel universe!).

Skrulls and humans are so different that it's really hard to think that they can live together in peace( Much like humans and Cardassians- pace Chakotay and Seska in ST:VOY):EVEN IF THEY SINCERELY WISH TO DO!

Does anybody else think as I do?

Poor "Laura Green/Lyja Lazerfist"- too human to be truly Skrull and too Skrull-like to be really human_but WHAT is humanity, is it simply a set of DNA sequences and chromosomes?
