Daredevil 2 news!

Sorry, but that article says nothing that Fox is even considering Daredevil 2. It only says that Duncan would like to play as Kingpin again if it does happen. Honestly, if Daredevil 2 does happen (hopefully by Marvel), I would like to see Duncan as the Kingpin again. Not for continuity sakes, but because I thought that he was a really great Kingpin, despite being black.

On a lighter note he did speak about doing Daredevil 2 and what he would like to see his character Kingpin in the sequel.

Michael Clarke Duncan: Yeah, We've talked about it.

I'd like to see him return, but I agree with hippie hunter that it should be by Marvel.

Darth, I already put this in the "Daredevil 2" thread yesterday.

Go there to discuss.

I would love to see a sequel to Daredevil. The Kingdom being played a black actor didn't bother me one pick. Duncan is an intimdating physical man is real life. I felt like he was great in the role. Nothing is wrong with MSJ thinking out of the box and casting him. It seems like any time the Kingpin is mentioned from Daredevil the race factor always comes up.

“Hey I lost cause I was so big, had I been a little quicker I would have kicked Daredevils behind” So then you see him getting out of prison now you got this (to himself since he is a lot slimmer now) looking nice and everything, and you take it from there. That's what I see."

That line kinda makes me not want him to return if there is a DD2.

I don't think Daredevil really warrants a sequel. The first one already exhausted his arsenal of cool villains. Who are they gonna put in the second? Stilt-Man?

Worst Marvel film IMO. Affleck was just not believeable as a leading hero in an action film. Not even for a second. The fight scenes were so clearly not him that it reminded me of the last episodes of Walker Texas Ranger. Daredevil needs not a restart but to make some appearances in other Marvel films with a new lead. I'd love Statham or Viggo...or just someone with physical skills besides looking chubby in red leather suit.

What DD movie did you watch, it clearly wasn't the same one I watched? The directors cut is one of the very best superhero movies ever made!

The entire cast was just great, the only complaint I would have is they didn't give the Kingpin enough screen time and developement, other than that, I can't wait for them to make another one!!

I agree with you 100%

Duncan was a cool black version of that classic spiderman villian.

I agree completely. The movie annoys me because it COULD'VE been great! The whole movie just felt flat to me (yes, even the DC though it was better). And I'm sorry but JG just displayed horrible acting IMO. At the very least, she is no Elektra Natchios. Affleck wasn't much better. I wish they'd have gone with Guy Pierce for the lead. Would've improved it a bit IMO. Rosaland Sanchez would've been great for Elektra (if she could lose the Latina accent). Ferelll was great as Bullseye but I wish they'd have given him a mask like a tie-behind Zorro-type mask with the bullseye on it. That would've looked much better and would've worked as over-the-top as his character was.

Nope, they can't go back. But they can go forward, hopefully learning from past mistakes and giving us a better marvel-made DD in the future.

Daredevil was terrible. Director's Cut of that was just a little better.

They put too much in there. Bullseye, Kingpin AND Elektra...but no Stick? Toxic waste in your face turns you into an amazing acrobat? Lawyers who make very little money are able to afford a sensory deprivation tank? A wounded Daredevil can take out Bullseye AND Kingpin in one night?

Lame!!! Terrible casting in the form of Affleck and Garner. I actually liked Michael Clarke Duncan, and Colin Farrell was fun.

Same ol' Hollywood, screwing up comic movies time and time again. If anything, Daredevil could probably make a decent television series.

IMO, Daredevil was great. Loved both theatrical and DC versions. As far as a sequel goes, I've always read that Avi Arad wanted to do a DD2 that was darker than the first but wanted to wait until the rights went back to Marvel so that they could make it themselves. Now that he's gone though, I have no idea if that's still what Marvel has in mind or not. Just something to think about...

I hope DD2 gets made. I liked the first one and thought there would be a second one in the works and I've been surprised that there hasn't been.

This review is quite accurate.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but DD especially the DC version is one of the best superhero movies ever made!!

We all have things we wish they would do, for me I just want a superhero movie that follows the comic totally.

Many people have revisited this movie and changed their minds about it, especially after seeing the DC version. Opinions vary, but the real truth is DD the DC version is a very good superhero movie!

The DC is a very good movie. The DC still had a couple problems, but it is really good overall.

DD was a very mediocre movie, and could've been great if it had a better director/screenplay attached. I thought the cast was decent though not great, and Affleck wasn't as bad as some of you claimed him to be. Still, I'd like Marvel to get back the license of DD from FOX, then wait a number of years before retooling and rebooting it from scratch, with a bright new cast. They can redo the whole Elektra saga again, and make sure Murdock learned it from Stick this time.

DD is one of my favorite characters, so I hope someday Marvel can do him justice.

DD is a great superhero (franchise), and to anyone that it doesn't need any more movie I say you're a fool.

Example of a fool:
I don't think Daredevil really warrants a sequel. The first one already exhausted his arsenal of cool villains.
