absolutely. That said, it does mean the tank is canon as of late.

True, but I wouldn't have the show start with it. It's been shown that he doesn't need it.

My opinion on the subject: The tank was a really cool detail and one of the creative highlights of the film for me. Including it is neat, but Daredevil works just fine as a concept without it.

Good way to try and kill him. Break into his house. Lock him in the tank then set fire to the place. He wouldn't know what's going on till he starts boiling.

Having a beeper inside the tank that's hooked up to a home security system wouldn't be hard.

And, like, sensory deprivation tanks aren't perfect zones of silence. If some *******s are making a lot of noise right outside of the tank (like attaching a lock to it), he's going to hear it.

Also, if you know who the guy is and where he lives, whether he uses a sensory deprivation tank to sleep in is kind of irrelevant.

Do you think they'll reveal any more big characters at NYCC? If so who do you think we'll get?

Like I said before, the tank isn't just for sensory deprivation. It's also for accelerated healing from all those fights he's been in. There are several hundred pounds of Epsom salts in it enabling him to float, and relax far more than he ever could in a bed, and it allows his brain to go into a theta wave state. One hour in the tank is the equivalent of four hours of sleep.

The sensory deprivation part is just the icing on the cake. They're not usually called sensory deprivation tanks now, particularly at health spas but floatation tanks. I've been in one.

Yea I think I've heard enough about tanks filled with water to last me a life time. Is there anything slightly interesting we could talk about?

Tanks filled with kittens!

I like the tank idea, but it's fine with me if they don't use it.

So, do we think that it'll be NYCC before anything else from the show gets revealed, or will we maybe get some early images before that?

They'll probably release a logo before NYCC or something like that.

One news nugget about this show that has been largely overlooked is that Matt Lloyd, who most recently turned heads with his work on Fargo, has been brought in as cinematographer. If this show manages half of the visually stunning flourishes that Fargo did, we'll be in for a treat.

Have higher hopes for this show than the other superhero series.

Really think that this could do for superheros what Game of Thrones did for Fantasy.

Clearly, their ambitions are huge, so hopefully, they will deliver.

I can't open the link here, could someone copy/paste it please?

The interview is a couple of weeks old, so the key excerpts have likely been posted already.
