When it said Ben Urich, I thought it said Ben Reilly and I got excited.

I always get those 2 confused because of the Ben part.

They actually said Uncle Ben.

I wish we would have gotten the full suit. This is making me want to read MWF. I'll probably get it this weekend.

It's a good story (although technically not part of the Daredevil canon). It's a deliberately more violent take than origins before, but it's a good synthesis of what Stan Lee wrote and what Frank Miller previously wrote, tying it all together in a nice cohesive story.

There are parts not everyone is a fan of (and I'm sympathetic to their views), but, for my money, it's the best origin story.

Frank Miller's run on Daredevil might be my favorite run of any comics character ever so it's nice they're borrowing elements of that into this. I mean, how can you not?

I'm glad that they're building up to the crimson suit instead of going with it straight out of the gate, although I'll have to admit, when I saw online that Marvel was releasing a picture later on, I thought that we were getting a full body photo of Charlie Cox in costume.

I definitely think that there will be an progression/evolution of the suit, and that the classic red one will be the endgame. Charlie Cox also said that beside Miller, the Bendis/Maleev run is the one that he connected to the most.

^ I don't, but you can see video footage of him in one of the early leaks. He's exactly as young as how John Romita Jr. drew him (which, interestingly enough, is not only way younger than originally intended, it was actually younger than what the script called for).



Yeah, that's fine with me. Ben Urich is more about attitude than anything else. Is Robbie Robertson a Spider-Man only character?

BTW, I personally like that I own the exact same suit as Matt Murdock there. Would make a good Halloween costume next year.

Cheers. Turning up in a suit to fancy dress reminds me of Only Fools And Horses. Del Boy and Rodney turn up to a party dressed as Batman and Robin only to find out that the host has died and it's a funeral. Trigger comes over (dressed in a black suit) and they ask him why he tell them that it was a funeral. He say's that he didn't know and felt a right idiot as he had come dressed as a chauffeur.

I like the first 'suit'. It's a realistic approach. If I was blind and I was at night fighting crime, that badass ninja outfit would obviously be my first choice.

he's been connected to them but if I remember right I think he's free lance they will most likely show him as a in demand contract reporter as in he'll stay there at the Daily Bugle for a while and he'll eventually move to bunch of others news papers empires .

It's like what batman went through when he came back to Gotham ad had robber mask ad just a black suit befor he had the full bat suit. if you saw the animated movie Mask of the phantasm & know most of batman history there is a alot both DD ad Batman have in common which why I always stated DD is the Batman of the MU there's a reason why I say that alot .

lol well that's what they called them anyone that moved around from more the one place with in their profession was called that. if you saw all the spider animated series that's what Peter Parker was know as too, A free lance photographer & they even showed him head to other places besides the Daily Bugle when he got tired of JJJ mouth.
