**** Arad... he's old. Marvel needs someone that could stand a chance in a 1-on-1.

I've said it before, I'll say it again...

Kevin Feige and all of Marvel need to storm the Fox offices with guns and get all their **** back. Daredevil, Fantastic Four, X-Men... all of it. I can take or leave Spidey at Sony. Aside from the third one, they've done okay.
ha, if only!
Even if they could find some way of giving Marvel creative control and Fox still getting a cut I'd be happy. I really don't want more crappy Fox films off the back of good Marvel ones. :csad:
I'd love to see all the above rebooted into the Marvel film universe, including Spiderman (as a young hero a la Spectacular Spiderman tv series), a gritty intense Daredevil, with the emphasis off of super. Not so sure about FF and X-Men... maybe FF as a 60s period piece and have them as elder statesmen of the superhero world in other films, X-Men same as Spiderman should focus on young heroes, the first class.

Shame it will never happen.

daredevil: 1 - Michael C hall
2 - Matthew Bomer
3 - Scott Adkins (could do the accent and can do the stunts with eas) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz2mERtAndM
4 - Ben Affleck

Kingpin: 1 - Michael Clarke Duncan (hes signed for 1 more so???)
2 - A Facially Intimidatins thesp ( put in a fat/muscle suit like the one used in wolverine perhaps as they're doesnt seem to be anyone kingpin like unless they adapt his character)
3 - Michael Chiklis (hes bald and can play nasty)
if desperate - Big show (due to the above that theres a lack of sizeable contenders)

Bullseye 1 - damien walters (give him few words more of a henchman for born again style reboot/follow on) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MeiwLLZjDo put adkins and him against eah other in a fight seen and it could be out of this world!!!

Karen Page: 1 - open to ideas on this but think that she should be in it ahead of electra maybe bring electra back in for the 3rd film (hoping!!) i like ellen pompeo but now i think someone a little younger would be needed

Foggy 1 - Favreau
2 - Sean Astin

Typhoid Mary 1 - Katee Sackhoff
2 - Moon Bloodgood

Electra 1 - Monica Baccarin

the owl 1 - Jackie Earl Haley

Mysterio 1 - Laurence Fishburne
2 - Patrick Wilson

just a little playin around if you dont like the ideas cool but just hoping to get some creative ideas flowing on this board and some dd images to boot would be great!

imagine jackie earl haley v michael c hall

excellent actor

I just don't see him as Kingpin

I don't think there actually is a fat dude in hollywood that would fit the Kingpin role, better they get a thin dude and slap a fat suit on him

possibly with a little CGI added

Did MCD wear a fatsuit? I would guess he did.

MCD said he put on a lot of muscle and fat for the role specifically but more towards a muscular buil;d as he said he felt kingpin to be overbearing physically not lardy, he wanted him to be a believable menace i actually think he was a good kingpin just the story lacked the creativity to push the talent in the film.

The blob fatsuit in wolverine shows what they can do but would need tweaking. I say give MCD a round two with dd

BORN AGAIN!!!

I will never understand why they cast outside of race for that character but MCD did do a fantastic job so I cant complain to much. I just think it's a little racist to beleive that people will only watch a movie if it has a white lead or if they sporatically cast outside of race to appeal to a wider audiance :cough cough: Dragonball and Avatar :cough cough:

tbh after seeing the directors cut i really quite liked the cast, i felt ben affleck and favreau played well off each other, jennifer garner i like but as electra i wasnt quite sold. really felt a sequel was needed...up the stakes increase the anti, make more of karen page, have daredevil outmatched beat down and fighting for survival, defeated by kingpin early on run to his absolute lowest ebb and then have karens life threatened forcing the devil to return stronger, faster and re-aligned with his belief of having to go beyong the law in order to fight the powerful crime bosses on there playing field in his back yard Devils kitchen.....ending in a build up to a huge fight with kingpins henchman (of choice pref bullseye - damien walters), once defeated rsies to face off against kingpins with karen pages life held at a knife edge in the process (throw in a few goons surrounding the street fight that follows a little encouraged inteference and i think you could be there for a cracking sequel aslong as throughout the emotional torment is played up in terms of isolation, weaknesses and strengths, love, hate revenge and tragedy

get chris nolans brother, miller in or bendis and smith to write

I watched Daredevil Directors Cut last night. And it was a brilliant film. I really don't understand the hate Daredevil gets. Apart from the silly playground scene and some dodgy SFX I really have no problem with it at all.

If some one can name me 10 comic book movies that are more accurate to the characters origins in essence than Daredevil, I'll give them a cookie.

And the fight scenes piss all over anything in the new Batman films. Some great performances from pretty much all the cast (yes even Affleck and Farrell). And it just got the character of Matt Murdock spot on. I don't know how anyone can deny this.

They should of made a sequel to it, with Bullseye returning.

it was an almost perfect film in my eyes, some of the dialog in the begining when Affleck was explaining Matt's accident and it's affects on him could have been written better

other than that, I don't even mind the playground scene

too bad we'll never see a direct sequel (and why Affleck was ashamed of suiting up is beyond me). Is Bale too embarresed to dress up as Batman, was Reeves or Routh too embarresed to wear Supermans cape and tights, or how about Tobey and Spiderman or the entire cast of X Men?

yea, Afflecks problems with the costume were all in his head

Yea [A] the DC is a great film. To be honest I don't think I have heard any one ever come up with valid complaints against it. Apart from the playground scene and the odd bits of dodgy SFX.

All they say is "Affleck is a *****e!" or "Farrell is a *****e!" or "**** Fox!"

The D.C. was a damn good film, deal with it

yeah it was, i was surprised how much the extra footage actually added to the film. Defintiley went up 2 points for me from 6/10 to a 8/10. There are still some bad scenes but the good outweigh the bad.

The only way someone could call Daredevil (either version) an excellent film, is if they were born in a coma, woke up one day and saw that movie. The first movie they ever saw.. and right after that, they die.
