The Dark Knight Dark Knight snubbed by TIME's top 10 list???!!

They must have felt that TDK was so great that it was superior to the ranking of #1. They are busy inventing a new number by which to rank TDK.

I guarantee you, it was a stupid omission because the author just plain forgot. He's probably kicking himself right now - there's no way anyone would put "Iron Man" and "Speed Racer" on that list and intentionally omit "The Dark Knight."
 
not even a tie for the two superhero movies? at the very least!
 
Opinions are opinions but I don't get it myself. The only mention of TDK is in the one about "Iron Man":

In an excellent year for action films (Wanted, Hellboy II, The Dark Knight and, as you'll soon see, Speed Racer), this was the coolest movie machine

So TDK is basically an 'action film' to them? Oh-k.

And it said "Speed Racer" was the 'future of movies'. Ugh.
 
Just because TDK is a GREAT film doesn't mean Time will heap it in the Top 10 List.

But honestly, Speed Racer? Bye bye list credibility.
 
I finally got around to watching Speed Racer...and while i found it to be groundbreaking...technically...it would come nowhere near any top ten lists...most people said it was good and wasn't bad...i feel like when it hit the mark...it did it well, but when they were off...it was not a very good experience....they didn't know how to balance the comedy and drama...so when it was time to get "serious"...it was laughable. I felt like i was watching Spykids.

Why the fu** was Speed Racer on there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????

And Wall-E number 1!? I know it was a good film but not good enough to be number 1!

Heh. Regardless of whether TDK was on there or not, the list is a bit...awkward? :huh: LOL

With all due respect, you guys left The Dark Knight off of your top ten list of movies for 2008, but SPEED RACER makes the cut!!

They even screwed up on the video game list too. No Metal Gear Solid 4?? No Dark Knight? WTF!!!??

Watch your mouth. Speed Racer was greatness. However, it was not better than TDK. And Iron Man sure as hell wasnt better than TDK... no contest.
