Who here remembers Dark Shadows?

I liked the 1991 series. Probably not what you had in mind, though.

yeah, I was into the Ben Cross Barnabas Collins, but both Barnabas', Jonathan Frid, the original Barnabas, and Cross were thoroughly evil ****s, but I never COULD get into the plodding, seemingly never-ending soap opera storyline thing... even though the new series used storylines from the original and I knew what was going to happen eventually, they never DID conclude the new series with Barnabas being eventually cured of vampirism..

Yeah, I never actually watched the original show, though I did see a movie that was either a prequel to it or it was made after, called House of Dark Shadows (I think?) that had Frid in it. It was okay.

But I did really enjoy the revival show with Ben Cross. Of course, I was like 12 at the time so if I watched it today, I'd probably find it cheesy.
