Darkseid is the Villain in Justice League

Awesome.

 

Pretty cool. I wonder whether we will even see Apokolips. Wouldn't be surprised if he affects the behaviour of humans on Earth and has agents working for him like Bruno Mannheim and Intergang.

 

Wow. That's pretty awesome, but it might be tough to differentiate him from Thanos, whose look actually was copied somewhat from Darkseid (even though I've always found Thanos a bit cooler).

 

Interesting, WB need to hire WETA if they wanna bring this dude to life. I wonder if the New Gods will be involved.

 

Darkseid would like be CGI, but for the voice and mo-cap work, for some reason I think David Harewood would be a good choice.

 

It sounds good and makes much more sense then someone like Maxwell Lord in the now dismantled JLA mortal.

 

That is a concern, with accusations that WB are copying Marvel, but a JL movie could still be different from the Avengers movie if it does explore Darkseid's character more in-depth like in the comics, instead of him just being the leader of an alien invasion. If they show characters he is involved with on Earth like Mannheim as well as showing New Genesis and exploring that aspect of the story.

 

Guess they gotta go bigger now, more sci-fi/intergalactic straight off the bat.

 

That's awesome! Unfortunately were going to hear a bunch people saying that DC is ripping off Marvel's The Avengers 2.

There's no proof to this yet, but I would be happy if it were true. I would rather them have Darkseid in a solo Superman movie first, then save him again for the third JL, though.

 

I'm expecting the Masters of Evil in TA2.

Its abit ambitious of WB, i expect a post credit at the end of MOS for Darkseid. Still no director just a script.

 

This is cool and all, but where the heck is the news on the director?

 

Yeah you look at a movie like "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" you had Darkseid, Granny Goodness, the Female Furies, Big Barda, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and the Amazons etc. all linked...Basically, Darkseid brings people together.

 

By the end of January, I'm betting they'll have the director selected. It's gotta happen soon.

 

Yeah, the sooner the better. Not one rumor thus far!
