I missed the part about Cage, but wrestling? Coupled with his ballet and boxing projects, Aronofsky sure is surprising the hell out of me.

I definitely can't see Nicholas Cage as a wrestler, that's almost as hard to believe as him playing Superman.

I remember watching one film with him and during one scene (maybe it was casino sequence, I can't remember exactly) he started breaking everything and he did really look like bulky psych with amazing muscular mass. So i have no problems thinking of him as a wrestler.

Could be the first film from him that I don't like. The Fighter don't sound so great either.

thats what i am thinking, why is he taking these weird movies when he is such a deeper film maker, the synopsis of both movies lead me to believe they will be pretty disappointing.... call me crazy... dont let me down darren....
