All of them were on that crazy 300 workout plan, so I'm sure he was in the best shape of his life. However, the makeup department also accentuated the muscle groups. You can see behind the scenes pics where there is a lot of makeup contouring.

He does indeed. But weren't all those muscles and abs and whatnot all added in post? Gerard Butler never looks all defined in real life; in the celebrity mag pix that appear online he has a big beer belly lol

They were all REALLY fit during production (including Butler), but Butler stopped the workouts right away. He did start getting a gut but has since lost the beer belly and is looking really healthy again (not like 300, of course).

Fassy says he doesn't really work out but plays football (soccer) and boxes I think.
