DMB is alright. When I was in college though, a roommate with a awful hair lip played them nonstop, so it kind of ruined them for me.

Yeah, and he only lived in my apartment for a month or so - so that tells you how often (and loudly) he played them! Its been about three years since then (two since i graduated), and I still can't listen to most of DMB's stuff...

Have you been to any of their concerts?
I once got to overhear them at their concert in Merriweather Pavilion (an outdoor pavilion) They were awesome!

ok so no one has been posting in this thread, i am a big fan of DMB and i can't wait for Big Whiskey. From what i heard so far its been real good and just in time for summer. There should be a leak soon as the actual album comes out June 2.

Listened to it in full last night, and even though my hopes were much lower than usual, I was still disappointed. There are a few solid songs on the record, the best being Time Bomb, but not one song blew me away. I'm hoping that changes after more listens.

But as of right now, I'd put it on par with Stand Up, or perhaps even a bit worse. I'd rank them like this....
