This was posted up onto Youtube back in May...not sure if anyone posted up here between then and now, but I thought it was a nice little piece of celebration for the milestone.

if only...IF ONLY...they had used the John Wesley Shipp "Flash" TV show...oh well.

marvel should do their version of that

I thought it kind of sucked. It's celebrating 75 years of existence, and the vast majority of the footage is from 4 movies, 3 released in the past few years. Looking at that, I would assume that DC is Batman and Superman...and then a few random other people sometimes.

I would have preferred more of a "through the years" type approach, showing comic covers and old serials, movies and cartoons...with more focus on Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, among others.

Well this is a great idea, it will push more characters to the forefront that havent had the spotlight, im genuinely excited for this.

Lots of Batman, Lots of Superman, somehow a decent amount of Watchmen, a little of Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and not much else.... Honestly what has DC done over their 75 years that would make you think this video should be any different?

It was a good video but they could have showed much more. Where's the Adam West Batman, the superfriends cartoons, the wonder woman live action show, the flash live action show, the old Fleischer superman cartoons? They could have showed alot more to demonstrate DC's historic legacy i think.

Well I'm looking forward to seeing if they cover all things related to Batman. I'm kinda surprised that the 60's tv series with Adam West and the superfriends was absent from the preview .

^That's pretty good! RR is narrating? They must really be pushing him.

I'm definitely interested. It'll be cool seeing the beginnings of these characters. For anyone interested theres a very good documentary called "Once upon a time the super heroes" which examines both Marvel and DC heroes and their beginnings. Its on youtube.

Definitely will pick this up. RR narrating should be pretty cool. :D

Loved seeing Smallville stuff in there! :D But DC is making themselves look like they are only Supes and Bats....with little extras on the side...

well of course they would promote supes/bats most. Since they are their 2 top tier guys. But i am sure this doc will get to all the important players.

Pretty good trailer. The instrumental at the end, whats the name of it? Sounds like something from Two Steps from Hell

Looks good. Speaking of DC's 75th Anniversary...I got an awesome t-shirt today. It's from a partnership by Celio* and DC for the 75th Anniversary. I got one that says "The Brave and the Bold Issue 1", under that "Batman and Green Lantern" and has a pic of Batman and GL under that. There were also Superman, Batman (with Robin, if I remember correctly), Joker and GL t-shirts. I'm definitely going to go again in the next few days to get the Superman t-shirt.

It will be good to see but keep in mind this is the official company line of DC's history and not the complete truth.

The glass is always half empty with you, isn't it? :oldrazz:

I am so recording this when it comes to OnDemand. :woot:

I bet they will call the Crisis a necessary thing and state that Byrne brought Superman back to the roots.
