DC live action television...

yea that would be cool, how would you guys go about the faceless mask?

The Question would definitely be cool.

Resurrection Man. Obviously R-Man has that "....of-the-week" mentality but the slowly healing amnesia allows for a "mythology."

Hitman. X-Ray vision and telepath. Fairly low budget effects, but Tommy didnt even like using his powers in the first place. I think it would effectively combine the FX-style gritty crime drama with superhero subgenre.

And I wouldnt mind seeing a Justice League spinoff from Smallville strictly without Supes and with J'onn, Green Arrow, and company

yeah, i'd love to see all the paul dini/bruce timm characterizations in live action.

I actually don't think B:TAS would work live action.

Batman's best medium is film.

Animal man or Vixen could work.

Adam Strange traveling to Rann each week from a different locale on earth.

Dial H for HERO

Challengers of the Unknown cross between X-Files and Fantastic Four(without any powers)

Yea the non power heroes, lower end powers like what vixen/etc.... can do would be are more likely characters to get a tv show. I do hope when ever smallville ends dc does think about doing another live action series either in universe with smallville, or not it doesnt really matter.

I strongly believe that there is so much potential to a Adam Strange series.

i could see it but others might see it as a ripoff of flash gordon and all that. And you would have to find the right network willing to bank on it.

It has Scifi channel written all over it. and there is so much more depth to it than Flash Gordon. Flash Gordon hasn't been significant since 1950.

speaking of dc related television programs looks like the human target project has officially been picked up by fox for series. I know nothing of the comic but i wish it best of luck.

Well to do TV shows based on DC character you to think low powered cause of the FX. Look at how Smallville is, thy very little of the powers cause of the FX budget.

My suggestions would be:
The Question - one of my favorite characters

The Blackhawks - WW2 heroes in suped-up fighters

Green Arrow - I see done more with him

Martian Manhunter - An alien detective show

Sandman - the pup hero version could be interesting

since the supernatural is big now how about these:
Hellblazer - Done right with the blonde hair and british and since does mostly palor trick in comics it could be done for tv.

The Phantom Stranger, Mr. E, Deadman (powers of a ghost and possession), Doctor Occult and few more vertigo titles.

TNT almost did a Deadman series a few years back. They optioned it, but I don't know what ever came about from that.

I'd do Phantom Stranger like an anthology type series, similar to Friday the 13th the series or something like that. The Specter would work along similar lines as well.

Human Target has been added to the Fall 2009 lineup for Fox.

I'd say I'd like to see pretty much ANY dc character get the live action television treatment. Mostly Batman (because there hasn't been one since the 70's) and Flash.

black canary the series would that work?

A Nightwing series on FOX would have been amazing.

This would have been a great cast (comprised from other new shows);

Craig Olejnik (The Listener) as Grayson/Nightwing

Tim Roth (Lie to Me) as Vic Sage

I'd add an ADA character too.

Just about all of these suggestions are solid really.
I just don't really like Green Arrow.

Cable:

100 Bullets
Fables
Hellblazer
Sandman Mystery Theatre

Broadcast networks:

Dial H for Hero
El Diablo (based on the Rafael Sandoval version of the character from the late 80s and early 90s)
Nightwing
Supergirl
