Best comics and heroes.

Right now, I'd vote for DC. Marvel still puts out good stuff though.

It's wierd though, since like 75 precent of the members in the comic section visst the Marvel comic.
-I won't vote

I agree with Harlekin. Right now DC is better, but it always changes (at least for me) every few years at the most.

They have more logic and better explanations.
Example.
Superman is empowered by our sun, but why weakend by a piece of his home planet.
Flash run's in the speed of light, but still dont draw the whole world into a vortex.

Quicksilver run's about 1 million times slower than Flash, but still... reasonable.

- Kryptonite is deadly because of all the time it spent in space. It's not just a piece of his homeplanet, it's a piece mixed in with all kinds of freaky minerals and stuff.
- Characters that go the speed of light in Marvel don't destroy the world either.

You might as well vote, by the way.

Yess like gaining powers by standing next to a nuke, instead of being incinerated .... very logical *sarcasm*

Both companies have a rich universe of characters, but I lean towards DC.

Marvel. While some or the character's origins are kinda messed up, both companies really suffer that. Though I'll most definitely agree that DC pumps out a whole mess load of awesome stuff.

But my opinion changes from time to time of course.

i dont know i like more marvel chars but dont realy like the fact of how they got their powers except some like dr.strange

Marvel.

DC has character that are too, iDk.. imperious to pain..

Marvel is alot more emotional.. they deal with alot of psychology of the character, too.. the only real time DCs ever done that was when Alan Moore or Neil Gaiman worked for them... DCs just always struck me as a goody tooshoes company.. where just about all of Marvel's line-up get there powers from there flaws.

Marvel. It's a personal thing - I just know the Marvel Universe a lot better. I don't get the 'same universe' feel when reading different DC comics (probably because I don't read enough different ones).

Marvel is so much better than DC. It takes place where we live. I mean the characters live in New York and real places in America. Where does Batman live? Gotham? Where's that? Seriously guys, get a grip. DC also has ripoff characters. Green Arrow? Hawkeye came out first. Deathstrike? Taskmaster first. The Avengers would own the JLA. Captain America's a real superhero, not some emotional wuss like Superman who tears up and has to be comforted by Lois Lane all the time. I mean they can't even rival the X-Men with anyone. Who've they got? JSA? Stupid. Teen Titans? Don't make me sick! I like some DC stuff, they got some great stories and great characters like Batman and Watchmen. But in the end, I'm pulling for Marvel because they are truly a more dynamic universe.

Marvel has a plethora of rip off characters themselves. So I wouldn't go basing it on that.

And please, don't go around saying one team would beat another. I REALLY wouldn't like to see another thread go down crashing and burning like that. x.x

Plus, Sentry's basically an emotional nuke, and he's an analogue of Superman.

Plus, JSA rocks.

Actually...
Green Arrow
First Appearence: More Fun Comics #73 (November, 1941)

Hawkeye
First Appearence: Tales of Suspense #57 (September, 1964)

And Taskmaster appeared just a few months before Deathstroke. It's unlikely that Tasky would have a lot of success to have a reason to copy. So, you my friend are what one would call a Marvel Zombie.

Deathstrike is a Marvel character.

Also, everyone knows the Avenger would crumble before the JLA. Flash's headwings are just so much shinier than Cap's.

Seriously, CombatRock needs to go hide under one.
