SARA RETURNS TO THE LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS – Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara Renée) are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the ‘50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable). John Showalter directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz and Grainne Godfree.
TV PROMO:

This episode won't air until March 31, sadly.

Super excited to see Matt Nable return as Ra's. Despite my problems with S3 of Arrow, he was definitely one of the highlights for me and made for a great Ra's.
Guessing some people won't be happy about the Ray/Kendra parts. Did I hear correctly in the promo when they said two YEARS?!?

P.S. @Herolee10 Sorry for stealing your job of creating the episode thread this week. :oldrazz:

Haha not a problem. I'm actually surprised that I was the only one making these threads prior to this episode so it's nice to see others make them.

Yeah, looking foward to seeing how Sarah introduces herself to Ra's. And I agree. Arrow season 3 was ****, but Matt Nable as Ra's Al-Ghul surely wasn't. And Ray as professor?

I'm thinking JSA or something like it.

I am glad that I am not the only one who is a fan of him and who thought he did a great job. I am really looking forward to his appearance too.

Agreed about S3, and matt Nable did do a good job with what he was given. I think the actual story / his lines held him back, but I thought he did good with what he was given.

nice to see this is the ras episode coming. Surprised they are going to be stuck in the 50s for a few months. I would have expected after rip and the crew get away from chronso they would have returned to the last time they where at.

I imagine the answer is going to be some form of wibbly wobbly "time got messy on our exit, it would be hard to return to the exact point."

Are you sure? Netflix has it scheduled for march 23.

Just saw that the promo has that date as well. I guess Netflix made a typo.

Did he say two or three years? It could've sounded like three as well.

So they do have to wait a period of time. That's better than just coming back a few days after. I do wish Jax had been stuck there as well, as he would've had to deal with more racism. But of course, that could've meant that Martin Stein would be dying without him.

If Sara returns to the League of Assassins, won't she be altering history?

ya i didnt expect a break myself but i didnt see the 8th episode live so i didnt know of the change of when episode airs next.

I miss the old days of studio lots making all different kinds of movies, so if a sci-fi show needed to travel to a different time or planet, they'd just go shoot at lot B where they're doing a western, or Lot A for an Egyptian deal, worked great for Star Trek.

Otherwise they end up having to stretch out the money spent on expensive 50s sets and cars for 2 episodes when they should be travelling back to the west to meet Jonah Hex by now!

well that isnt needed if locals they shoot at have looks they want and props are easier thing to get.

I did not expect them to all come back (sans Sara and Snart) so quickly.

This episode has had some surprising consequences. I certainly did not expect it to go the way it did.

ETA: Or not. Apparently things are fairly full circle.

That was fun. I am impressed at how they handle the large cast. The Kronos twist was a good one.

So there are two Micks? There's still one out there where he was abandoned, and then the one who is
Kronos
?

Another fun episode. Was nice to see the lameness of the League assassins goes back to at least the 1960s.

Ray and Kendra are a better love story than Oliver and Felicity.

Predictable but good episode

Ray and Kendra's portion definitley held my interest

I didn't like Sara going back to the League. I was already tired of her always leaving the League, only to go back to it. But I guess it made a little sense, with her stranded in 1958, without a place where she belongs, and the only place she could have remotely called home during that time period, is Nanda Parbat. And it might have had at least one positive consequence, as it seems she got her Bloodlust under control, under the guidance of Ra's.

Shows how crappy of a Ra's Malcolm is.

That was a great episode- the best of what was on offer this week. I enjoyed all the threads thoroughly. And that time towards the end where all of them were powered up beating Kronos was a very neat scene.
