Now, since we know there is a Deadman film on the way, who would you like to see be him? I wouldn't mind seeing Clive Owen portray Boston.

But I'm sure Clive Owen would be good for the role. He's great at any role he plays.

Deadman is like a spirit who can posses other people's bodies, but doesn't really have any abilities other than that. And some magic users etc can attack him when he's in spirit form, but he's pretty cool. Where's the confirmation of the deadman movie?

Deadman was Boston Brand, a circus acrobat. He was shot to death by "The Man with the Hook Hand," a mafia assassin who's initiation was to take out a public figure without getting caught. Brand's soul was confronted by Rama Kushna, an aspect of the Source that represents balance. Rama Kushna empowered Boston with the ability to possess the living, and sent him on a quest to bring balance to human affairs, starting by bringing his own killer to justice.

I vote for either Jim Carrey or Bruce Campbell.
(Even tho' the original story was a spectral rip-off of The Fugitive it may still work.
Of course, when GhostRider the Movie comes out, this may not get made for awhile, if ever.

It is supposedly slated for a 2008 release,and already has Giullermo Del Toros' name involved in it.

As far as casting goes,I wouldn't mind seeing just a newcomer/no-name actor to bring the Deadman(no pun intended!!) to life.I mean he is a reasonably unknown comic character(as noted by C.A.H.,and yeah that might only be one person but...),unless you are a true fanboy so to speak.

the guy is all to much overrated.I'm not saying that he's a bad actor,hell I thought he was great in Secret Window,and Edward Scissorhands,but aside from those 2 movies,I just don't think that he's all that great!
