From the Hollywood Reporter..
Gosnell: the Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer opens wide Oct. 12 through GVN Releasing and stars Dean Cain as the detective who put Gosnell behind bars.

The film gets its title from a 2014 grand jury report that accuses the doctor of killing hundreds of newborns over the course of several decades in Philadelphia, though he was convicted of just three counts of first-degree murder and one count of involuntary manslaughter.

Nice to see Cain's name. I actually caught him a few weeks ago playing a killer in Criminal Minds.

Dean Cain has a job?

I'm not that familar with Dean Cain's work (Other than his cameo in Rat Race =P) but he looks like he'll do a good job in this.

He's probably most know for playing Superman on the 90s tv series and later Scott Peterson in a tv movie.

Dean Cain - IMDb

He's clocked up 157 acting credits in a long list of productions so hasn't really not had a job over the last 20 years. It may not be box-office blockbusters, but fair play to him for putting the work in even though some people invariably look down their nose at his career post Clark & Lois.

I follow him on Twitter and he comes across as a very down to earth, friendly and level headed guy.

Hmm. Most of the folks associated with this movie appear to be conservative/Christian/anti-abortion types. But I guess they’re entitled to their kick at the can - same as everyone else.

My post was joke since Dean Cain isn't in nearly as much stuff as he once was. It's a joke man, a joke!

Nice to see him getting some non Hallmark channel work.

Yeah, Cain's still been working pretty steadily by the looks. Just TV series and made-for-TV movies and all, not really any worse than plenty of other people who were bigger in the 90s.

He's in that Kelsey Grammer Republican mold though, so likely there are the usual petty producer types out there against the guy. Not sure it's really affected him too much career wise though, imdb's history seems pretty constant.
