Sorry if this is a repeat topic, I searched the threads and couldn't find anything.

So, there's this movie coming out--

"Conceived as a fictional TV documentary broadcast in 2008, reflecting on another monstrously despicable and cataclysmic event: the assassination of President George W. Bush on October 19th, 2007. The 'documentary' combines archival footage and carefully composed interviews, presented in a respectful and dignified manner."

This movie seems a little . . . ghoulish.

Thoughts?

I haven't seen it but I've been reading reviews about it and such. The general consensus is that the movie is an intriguing idea but it sucks in the execution. The special effects of inserting people into shots are horrible, and it's not sure if it's a crime drama or a documentary.

I think it's out mostly for the shock value... it IS a new idea, though.

I won't go see it in the theater but I wouldn't refuse to watch it.

I had a friend see it, he thought it was "intresting".

I'll probably rent it.

It's an interesting idea and I'd like to check it out.

Sounds stupid. Seems like a liberal snuff film to me.

It sounds and looks interesting, but I'll just wait for a rental. I wonder if Bush will see it? I imagine it's pretty creepy to watch your own pretend assassination.
