No idea what the hell is going on, saw a few theories floating online which drummed up my excitement. I'm intrigued just how much gameplay we'll be getting here. MGS is notorious for having more and more cinematics as the series went on. It feels like with how much weirdness is going on, they kinda have to not let the player have too much control.

 

Guys we have truly gone off the deep end.

And i love it.

 

Now to wait for Yongyea to make his analysis video in order to try to get a sense of what on earth i just watched.,

 

When do you guys think we’ll get gameplay? I’m honestly thinking not till E3 2018. Maybe at one of the other gaming conferences before that but I doubt it. I would love to be wrong though.

 

If not the GDC on march next year then definetly E3 2018.

Del Toro did tweet that a few months ago that Kojima did show him actual gameplay of Death Stranding to him, confirming that they're well into the development phase to show gameplay.

 

Ive only seen the trailers and havent been involved in any of the discussion, but Id like to make a guess about this game's story. I noticed there is an image of a map of the US with lines across it and the word "Bridges" is with this image. My guess is the Bridges thing is a network of wormholes that were created across the US that allowed instantaneous travel from one location to another. But something happened and these "bridges" connected to some ****ed up universe where the laws of physics arent quite the same and where eldritch alien beings live. These eldritch beings came through the wormholes and invaded earth and the physics of our planet were all screwed up which is why we see stuff floating around. Now some humans have become infected slaves to the eldritch beings. A group of humans have managed to survive and avoid infection.

And that's all I've got.

 

Dude i highly recommend watching Death Stranding related videos by youtuber Yongyea, the best game trailer analyst on youtube imo, everything you wrote here he's been speculating about the exact same thing for months now.

I will get this when it comes out. I would just like to know when it's coming out.

 

I'm not expecting it before 2019, no matter what kojima says.

2 yrs ago today, I founded Kojima Productions while having no office, staff nor the engine I had this dream of going the space where nobody’s ever been. I started the voyage plan, upgraded accuracy, hiring crews, getting the engine & set ignition. Now we’re in the mid of voyager.

 

Hopefully not Star Trek Voyager.

Unlike last year, Death Stranding will be unveiled at E3 2018 this year!

 

They've showed us 3 whole trailers so far, all of them have been (albeit in real-time) cinematic cutscene trailers.

Hoping we get an actual gameplay trailer, least 10 minutes during the main presentation.
