I mean, let's be honest, Arkham Asylum more or less completely got the shaft in the Nolan films, Burton didn't use it at all and Schumacher.... well. :o

I need the DCEU to go deep. We don't know if Arkham will factor into BVS, but we know it plays a part in Suicide Squad. Hopefully a solo Batfilm goes even deeper.

I agree. I want to see Batman roaming the halls late at night, with us not knowing who may be lurking around the corner.

So far i've been okay with the minimal use, but to change things up, im totally down for a deeper dive.

1000% agreed

I think there will probably be more cameos than we think when we get to see Arkham in Suicide Squad

I always envisioned Arkham as Crane's personal playground in Batman Begins. Where he would dress up as the Scarecrow, not just in the mask, but in full kit, and cruelly torment the patients in a secret makeshift torture room...

I like that interpretation from my own head better than what Nolan gave us.

it puts the lotion in the basket or it gets the gas again.

Yeah, I'm all for one movie where Arkham is the focus.

Just a thought, but I think it'd be cool if a 'deeper dive into Arkham' was literal. I'm sure it's been done this way in some comic, but what if the majority of Arkham was actually underneath the building, a series of secret underground levels. The story could take some cues from Dante's Inferno or Heart of Darkness, where it gets progressively darker and weirder as Batman makes his way deeper down into the asylum.

Rockwood Asylum would be THE perfect location for Arkham. A few additional set changes here and there, a little digital alterations and bingo!

I've been wanting an Arkham-based Batman movie for a long time.

Batman in Wonderland, like Morrison's tale, would be extremely sweet! The game captured the book's atmosphere and themes pretty well, but the story of the book was obviously far more psychological in nature.
