I was struck by how Iron Man flew from Malibu to the middle east and back again. This scene fills that plot hole.

Fun scene, but I kind of see why it got cut. I imagine this comes after the gala and Tony going postal with the repulsors in his workshop.

It's elimination definitely doesn't hurt the movie or make it seem illogical, so it was fine to trim. You also don't have to deal with the issue of girls seeing a glowing circle on his chest. But then, Stark goes public at the end any way, so doesn't matter I suppose .

That was a nice scene...would have liked it in the movie, but it really didn't hurt it being cut. Good to be able to see it in any case.

Definitely Stark, I like the part where the one girl is talking to some other guy and all Stark says is "would you like to join us?" ans she goes right with him and the other girls.

Wayne doesn't even care about girls, apart from the now deceased Rachel... so it's not much of a competition.

As much as I love a foursome scene with such nice ladies, it didn´t really serve any story purposes and was maybe a little too racy for the studio, an understandable cut.

Yeah pretty much.

It's a fun scene, but they were right to cut it. Sometimes what's on paper doesn't always work in execution.

I don't see what's so impossible for Stark going from Malibu to the Middle East. His energy tech is based on efficient solar panel in the comics, and in the film the arc reactor act as the primary source. Iron Man suit is certainly not limited to a short 300 km trip.

And thank god they cut the ladies scene out. Female viewers still like the character because of his reckoning when he becomes less ladies man after his escape. Even James Bond is less sleaze than Tony Stark for having multiple ladies at a time. Being Don Juan is okay, Hugh Hefner-like is despicable more so for a comic/kids oriented character.

I totally see why the scene was cut. I liked the "three" joke and those girls acting showed some promise, if you know what Im saying, but Im totally fine with that cut.
