I thought it might be fun to submit ideas and sketches, drawings, of the Avengers + X-Men. Who do you think should be merged?

Here is what gave me the idea:
In DC Comics, Superman/Batman #60, DC merged characters from their own comics who existed in the same universe creating the Justice Titans (and amalgamation of the Teen Titans and the Justice League).

Batman and Superman meet the team's members:

• Night Lantern: Green Lantern & Nightwing
• Donna Wonder: Wonder Woman & Donna Troy
• Flash: Bart Allen & Wally West
• Aquaborg: Aquaman & Cyborg
• Star Canary: Black Canary & Starfire
• Hawkbeast: Hawkman & Beast Boy

To the people from that universe this is how things are, they aren't two characters merged, they are one character (the other universe is weird and not them).
Not only that, but the enemies of Batman and Superman are merged:

On the Brotherhood of Injustice there is the amalgamations of
Deathstroke and Doomsday
Lex Luther and Joker
Jimmy Olsen and Two-Face
Lana Lang and Harley Quin
Brainiac and Catwoman
Metallo and Penguin

So getting to the point, finally I know,
I was thinking what Marvel would have done in that situation.
Who would they merge? Who are their Justice Leagues and Teen Titans?
Well I know the Avengers are their JLA, and I heard somewhere that the X-Men are their Titans. So I was thinking it would be Avengers + X-men.

So who do you think should be merged? Captain America and Cyclops? Moon Knight and Wolverine or Wolverine and Hawkeye? Kitty Pryde and Hellcat? Thor and Storm? Would Namor, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch, stay themselves since they are on both Avengers and the X-Men? Would Beast be merged with Wonder Man? What about Charles Xavier? Havoc + Bucky? Cable + Winter Soldier? Hulk + Thunderbird or Colossus? Captain Britain + Black Panther? Black Panther + Sunfire? Sunfire + Firestar? Iron Man + Beast or Forge? How about Jean Grey + Firestar, or Jean Grey/Phoenix + Wonder Man?
As for enemies, magneto + Dr. Doom? Who would you merge Thanos with? Baron Zemo + Mr. Sinister? Would that mean Red Skull + Apocalypse?
I think this idea is fun and opens up to limitless possibilities, could even expand to the rest of Marvel, like if Superman and Batman are merged in DC, who would it be in Marvel? Spider-Man and someone else?
I have some ideas, and I will submit them as soon as I draw some stuff up. What about you guys?

Here are some ideas:
On this Earth there are those who are born Mutants, those who are Genetically Altered, and those without powers. Xavier Fury, former soldier, turned Spy, turned Director of Homeland Security, and now retired has a plan to unite them all and to defend the public from escalating threats.
He contacts several mutants, genetically altered people, and non powered people, putting together a team.

Xavier Fury: Nick Fury + Charles Xavier
Xavier Fury discovered that he was a mutant at an early age, with the ability of mind reading, telekinesis, and mind control. He was a soldier for America for years, fighting in the front lines against any and all threats. Over the years Xavier left the War Front and moved slightly left, becoming an agent, and then Director of a secret U.N. affiliated intelligence agency dealing primarily with terrorism and superhuman threats, called SHIELD. When he first begins to put the X-Avenges together we find out that somewhere down the line he was crippled, and is now in a wheel chair. But that doesn’t stop him, he is still a vicious warrior and an incredible threat to anyone he considers an enemy. Xavier can be a jerk, he is a master manipulator, but does have a good reason.

His mission statement, to unite the born mutants, genetically altered, and the humans, to defend the public at any cost.

American Cyclops: Captain America + Cyclops
Steve Summers was the only surviving Summers after he lost his family as a young boy in a plain crash. He was blinded in that same accident and lived his life in an orphanage. It wasn’t until his adulthood at the start of WWII that Summers would regain his sight. Being blind Summers couldn’t help in the war effort, so instead he offered himself as a test subject in a military experiment to create a super soldier. It worked. Summers went from being a blind weakling to the peak of human perfection. His strength, stamina, agility, mind, everything was pushed to its limits. Summers even regained his sight, and more. Seconds after his sight returned intense laser blasts shot out of his eyes. The scientist and Summers found out that he could not open his eyes without his “Optic Beams” destroying everything he looked at. They built Summers some goggles that had protective lenses made out of Rubbyquarts, the only substance that Summers couldn’t seem to destroy. He was turned into a symbol of America and sent out into the War as the American Cyclops. After years of fighting Summers disappeared, only to be found by the Avenger-Men, A-Men (maybe the X-Avengers) frozen in Antarctica. It was determined years later, maybe by Xavier Fury, that Summers was in fact a mutant, and his heat vision coupled with the genetic manipulations done to him by the military caused his Optic Blasts and maybe pushed them to a level he cannot control on his own.

Iron Beast: Iron Man + Beast
Hank Stark was a brilliant scientist. He excelled at everything, genetics, robotics, engineering, anything he set his mind to. He was also a gifted athlete as well. He made went on to become such a successful businessman that he created Stark Enterprises, a company that created Weapons for the military. One day, on a trip to the front, Stark was kidnapped by terrorists from the apposing side, lead by a man who called himself the Conquistador. He wanted Hank to use his vast intelligence to not only create weapons for him, by to create armor and to genetically alter him to be the perfect living weapon, or he would be killed. Hank had no choice; he created the weapons, the armor, and worked the means to alter genes. But he had not plans to let these fall into the Conquistador’s hands. He drank the formula himself, which turned him into a fury beast, and using the armor and weapons, freed himself and destroyed his captors and their base. He made it back to the American troops who took him home. But Stark was stuck as a fury beast, and the only thing more genetic manipulation did was turn his gray fur to blue. Once he met Xavier he found out he was in fact a mutant. His incredible athletic ability was a mutation, and genetically tampering with it altered his DNA turning him into a Beast. Using his Iron armor, his mind, and his beastly abilities, Hank joined the X-Avengers as the Iron Beast.

Thor + Storm: Thunder Storm
She was born in Africa, raised in America, and discovered that she is the living embodiment of the Norse God of Thunder, Thor. This became evident when she lifted the hammer of Thor, only if she was Thor could she had lift it. By lifting the hammer she became Thunder Storm, regaining Thor’s incredible strength, fighting skills, invulnerability, flight, and the ability to control the weather like lightening and thunder. She was called on by Xavier Fury to join a team he was putting together called the X-Avengers. She is Thor, not just the vessel or gains the powers of Thor, she becomes Thor.

Hulk + Colossus: the Incredible Gollum
Russian Scientist Dr. Pietro Rasputin Banner is the world’s foremost expert in Gamma Radiation. One day while trying to save a young American boy from an exploding Gamma Bomb Pietro was exposed to large amounts of radiation, now when he is angry or excited Pietro becomes a large hulking creature of organic metal. He is invulnerable to attacks and insanely strong, and depending on his mutation at the time often looses his brilliant intelligence. As the Gollum Pietro looses consciousness, but gains a new personality, he is like a child most times. Friendly and trusting, but easily manipulated and on occasion short tempered.

Hank Pym + Ice Man: Frost Giant
Dr. Bobby Pym is a young scientist who discovered what he calls Pym Particles, a particle that not only gives him the ability to shrink and to grow giant scale, but also gives him the ability to control his body’s temperature as well as the temperature directly around him. He became, with the insistence of his girlfriend, backer, Janet Van Worthinton III, the Frost Giant, a being who can grow to incredibly large scale, turn into ice, and blast freezing ice from his hands. Along with his sidekick Humming Bird, more on her later, he protected New York. But Bobby has some mental illnesses, and occasionally changes his superhero identity.

Wasp + Angel: Humming Bird
The girlfriend of Dr. Pym, Janet Van Worthington III is a rich heiress of the Van Worthington fortune. She funded Pym’s research, and then became his lab partner, and eventually his vigilante sidekick.
She has bird wings that stick out of her back, allowing her to fly at tops speeds. She has the powers to shrink to the size of a Hummingbird, and to shots blasts of energy from her hands.

I have many more, these are just the only ones sketched to this point.

I've already done a bunch of X-Titans. I forget which thread they were in. I kinda dropped off with it. Cyclops/Nightwing, Pheonix/Starfire, Beast/BeastBoy, Colossus/Cyborg, Storm/Raven, etc. =)

I would like to see those. they are Probably in the Redesign DC or Marvel threads, but this one is just Marvel characters. Redesigning two merged Marvel characters, like how DC merged two DC characters. So my idea was Avengers + X-Men.

Like this one, Beast/Hank McCoy + Iron Man/Tony Stark: Iron Beast/Hank Stark (or Tony McCoy)

I would love to hear other ideas too, maybe Beast should be merged with Wonder Man, become Wonder Beast. Maybe Iron Man should be merged with Forge...

Night-Panther: Nightcrawler +Black Panther (Tchalla Tchaka aka Kurt Wagner)
To Tchaka, king of the Wakandas, a son was born. He was a mutant, but the Wakandas didn't know what that was. All they saw was that he had the visage, fur and tail of the sacred Black Panther. They remembered a prophesy that had been told in the land for many a century: "In your darkest hour, the Night-Panther, son of a king, will save the Wakandas, bring you light and Avenge."
But, Little Tchalla, as the prince was named was kidnapped by a Dutch explorer, who thinking that he was an animal, sold him to a German Gypsy circus. His "Owner" soon learned he was human, and he adopted the moniker "Kurt Wagner". "Kurt" became a big part of the German Gypsy Circus. For, The stolen prince had the strength and agility of a panther.
On a day that happened to be his 18th birthday "Kurt" left to find his origins. When he discovered the Wakandas he saw that they were oppressed by a government who had since conquered the Wakandas. He declared himself king and lead a revolt and The Wakandas were free.
They fed him an herb that gave him the ability to teleport, as the prophesy instructed should be done to the Nightpanther.
Reading the prophesy and seeing the word "avenge" he took it as a sign that he should join the X-Avengers.
Given it's sudden prominence with having it's king being an X-Avenger, people discovered that the Wakandas' wild, uncultivatable fields held one of the only mines of Vibranium, a useful and powerful mineral. Tchalla used the money from the Vibranum to begin a massive modernazation program for his country.

Kang the Magnetic (Kang + Magneto)Xavier Fury had a friend, A fellow-mutant and Holocaust survivor named Nathan Lensher. While experementing with a mutant detecting machine called Cerebro, Lensher got sucked into a time portal to the year 2525, where he finds mutants have taken over most of the Earth and only 5% of the entire population are regular humans, who are Regulated to certain "Colonies". Most of the colonies and their inhabitants are despised. Through a convoluted series of events Lensher becomes king of a Major part of the Future world He then travels back to modern times, feuled by a new-found hatred of reguluar humanity, hoping the make his "perfect world" happen a hundred year before it did. In Addition to Magnetic Powers he has Future tech.

Thanapocalypse (Thanos+ Apocalypse)
I havn't really fully developed this idea, but basiccally, En Saba Nur gets fused with an Eternal with Super-strength and Energy manipulation, and Now, driven insane by the fusion, alternates between wanting mutant domination and Nihilism.

Baron Von Zinester (Baron Zemo + Mr. Sinister)
Baron Heinrich Von Zinester was one of the most brilliant scientists of Nazi Germany and joined the Nazi party early in its existence. Von Zinester quickly became one of the Nazis' top scientists and the most wanted Axis agent. He was heavily involved in a program to create a Nazi equivalent to American Cyclops. After the War, he allied himself with Thanapocalypse, who gave Von Zinester Mind Control, Super Strength, and a healing factor.


Dead Wonder (Deadpool + Wonder Man)
Wade Williams is the son of rich industrialist Simon Williams, owner of Williams Innovations. Learning that he had contracted cancer, he readily accepts the proposition of Von Zinester who will cure his cancer in exchange for infiltrating the Xavengers. He is given a Healing Factor, Super-Strength, and Eye-beams. He joins the Xavengers, who see the mental effects of the treatment (he sarts going insane), and releize what's going on. A totally sane and rational part of Williams' mind expresses regret for what he did, but Von Zinester kills him. a Few years later it turns out he wasn't dead, merely in suspended animation, and Xavier Fury thinks it wise if they let him join the Xavengers (which he expresses interest in doing) as it would be better to have the madman under the watchful eyes of the team, rather then have him elsewhere.

Ultron the Sentinel was constructed by Frost Giant and Iron Beast. Bolivar Trask snuck into Xavengers Mansion to reprogram Ultron into a mutant killing machine.
