She can be written superbly and still not look like Catwoman and thus be a failure of putting the character on screen. Imagine a really well written Bruce Wayne that never put on a Bat suit. Would not be Batman. Catwoman is exactly the same thing.

They could just have a passing reference in dialogue, but if she's meant to be the most er, fleshed out character in the Nolanverse, I'd say we have a decent chance.

At which he wasn't Batman and it was all lead up to him becoming Batman. Not at all the same as tagging a character Catwoman and having her sans cat motif.
