Dexter 4 vs. Breaking Bad 3

This thread is simple. The better one? Dexter Season 4 vs. Breaking Bad Season 3. Both competed in the 2009-2010 season.

DEXTER: Season 4 Highlights:
- John Lithgow. The best performance in television that year.

BREAKING BAD: Season 3 Highlights:
- Walter White finally showing his truly criminal (evil) side.

I like them both for different reasons. What is the point of this?

The point is truly an awards one. If you had to vote for one of those, different the reasons, you still have to pick one. But which one?

Dear god, a nearly impossible choice, but since Season 4 of Dexter is its best, I'll vote for that. Overall Breaking Bad is the better show.

Dexter season 4 had a fantastic ending but Breaking Bad season 3 had One Minute and [blackout] RUN [/blackout]

breaking bad in general owns dexter hard. it's tough to say that because before scott buck, dexter was my favorite show, ever. but it's the truth in my opinion.

I can't make a fair judgement, because even my memories of how awesome season 4 of Dexter was are kinda tainted by what it became after. Season 3 of BB was great and it wasn't even BB's best season, imo. I think I'll watch all of BB again, but I doubt I'll ever dig in to Dexter again, because I know how crappy it gets.

i'm planning on eventually doing a rewatch of seasons 1-4 of dexter and then just stopping after that point.

although i admit i did enjoy the first half of season 7.... until of course

Dexter's first 4 1/2 seasons could have easily given BB a run for its money but alas it all gradually fell apart while BB held steady the whole way.
