I wonder what they’re going to do for the intro. Always loved the intro visuals and theme music. The theme should stay the same, the visuals I assume might be different.

Harry appearing to talk to Dexter as his inner monologue eventually got very annoying and became completely unnecessary.

Deb, on the other hand, has to appear in this new season in some form.

Might try to rewatch most of the series again before the new season. Definitely 1-4 at the very least. I might watch 5-7 because I don’t hate them. They’re still enjoyable to me, just not as amazing as 1-4. Definitely won’t be watching the final season though.

Just finished seasons 1 - 4 for the first preparing to watch the reboot and the season 4 finale could have been a great series finale so imo world it is. Just by the things I read I maybe doing myself a huge favor by not watching seasons 5 - 8

I liked seasons 5 & 7. Though I think season 5 is the season where they lost sight of Dexter being a psychopathic serial killer first and foremost, and less a vaguely moral crusader. But aside from that, I found it to be a very compelling and well written season. I didn't care as much for seasons 6 & 8 thoughl.
