Basically in a week when half of my comics are $4, an anniversary special that is not essential to the main title is always a "maybe". Looks like a solid week overall. I forget if Ast. Wolf-Man actually shipped an issue in March or if it managed to not be "one time in '09" as Kirkman wanted his Image books to be. I know Invincible is, and I don't read BRIT (which Kirkman edits, but doesn't write).

THANK FREAKING GOD!!!! A small week! After 2 straight $40 or so weeks it's good to actually have a week that I can actually afford, and maybe get caught up on some of those previous issues I had to skip due to the large weeks. Cable excites me because I've been looking forward to the Messiah War crossover. And War of Kings is something I'm always waiting for. The first issue was the predictable set up, now this is where the ball starts rolling. Secret Warriors has been real good lately so I'm excited to see where it goes from here. Looking to be a very good espionage book. And finally Masquerade. I'm liking these Project Superpowers books thus far and the first issue of this chick's origin was good. I've been looking forward to the second issue.

As for the 2 maybes, I've stated my reasons. I just buy too much and am looking for things to drop. I can't afford everything and have already cut some stuff but I need to cut more. JSA will probably get the axe, I'm just debating when. Chances are, I won't get this issue and will be selling what I have on ebay soon. And since I've also given up Green Arrow/Black Canary, JLA, and Secret Six, that only leaves me with the 2 Green Lantern titles. Keeping those is a definate but I'm not sure I want to branch out into more of the DC Universe than that or I may have to start buying too many tie-ins, crossover books, events, etc. The Green Lanterns are enough! And that is my reason for probably not picking up Flash: Rebirth. The only thing keeping me from giving it a flat out NO is that it was GL:Rebirth that really amazed me and made me a huge fan of the Green Lantern stuff. I'd hate to miss out on something like that again.
