I recently started listen to this book and it's great. One thing that really struck me from the beginning was the quality of the writing. For a 13 year old this is great stuff; the vocabulary, idiomatic expression, allusions, and psychological observation are amazing for a thirteen year old. I know I could have never written like that when I was thirteen.

I read some people believe it's forged but it's been proven by later forensic test that it is original. So what do you guys think about this? I also wanted to read The Pianist (one of my favorite movies) but can't find it in Pakistan. Anyone read that book by Sczhapilmann?

The diary of Anne Frank wasn't written by a teenager.

Even if there was an actual diary... some think not. Her father DID pay a professional writer to re write it. So even if it is real the writing isn't by Ms. Frank herself.

Where exactly did you get that info? I'd really like to know.
