The only thing my dad ever said to me when I was a teen was that if I got a girl pregnant don't come home............Anyone ever have a real talk with your parents?

HAHA that is what my parent's told me.

I had a friend whose wacky mother bought a book about sex and *********ion and sat him down every night and read it to him:dry:

nope. my parents never had a conversation with me about that. I got my talk from public school.

What exactly do you need to know?

Sexual intercourse is the act of which a man's reproductive organ enters the female's reproductive tract.

I learned about sex at school, then when I got the net, I realized I really didn't know **** about sex.

My parents talked to me about sex all the time. Whenever I had a question I would ask and they were pretty straight forward about it. It wasn't weird or anything, I think it just made me more knowledgeable about those things later on in life.

Obviously, your brother will be going to them with new and disturbing questions.

Sounds very similar to my father:

Dad :"Son, we don't do child support."
Me:

I never knew what he really meant by that. If I knock her up, do I marry her? Put the kid up for adoption? Or push her down a flight of stairs?

Huh no, my mom caught me "during the act of" so i guess she thought i didnt need the talk:(

My mother literally gave me the sex talk about every other week or so for a few years. Then, being a psychology major, she took a Psychology of Human Sexuality course.

She gave me the book when I was 12-years old, and made me read it front-to-back.

I was horrified.

I learned from watching the Flintstones. Yabba dabba doo!

I wish my hot English teacher would have shown me:up:

Parents never said a word about sex to me and I never asked a word. And thats the way I liked it.

I think my mom would freak out if anyone even said the word 'sex' around her.

Basically the same for me. I don't ever there being a time when I was sat down and talked at. It was always more of a dialogue with my parents.

My mother tried to talk to me, and I quickly shut that business down. There was a book lying around that I guess she bought to help figure out how to talk to me about it, so I just read the book.

Maybe one day you will finish it?

I don't remember my parents talking to me about it, but I do remember a wonderful and incredibly detailed discussion from Daniel Stern.

Eh, I basically learned from Porn and Public school.

So there was no need for my parents to sit down and talk to me about it.

haha no! My grandma was shocked when I said 'pregnant'

I never really had "the talk" either. My parents talked about sex and relationships but never really any details about the necessary mechanics of sex. I learned all I know about it from personal experience (trial and error baby, trial and error) and porn.
