I remember all the stories surrounding Anthony Michael Hall's role early on. It was soooo secret they couldn't even reveal his name. Well did I miss it or did nothing happen???

He said he wouldn't ruin the $200 million suprise. Hopefully he has some insight to this in an interview, cause I am stumped!!

His $200 million dollar surprise was like 2 minutes of screen time. :funny:

Deebo was far more accurate in the conveyance of his role's than was Hall. Both were overstated, but Engel barely registered at all during the film.

I have thought this for some time that people were overexaggerating what he meant. I think he meant that the movie is that much and he didn't want to ruin anything in it storywise, not necessarily that it involved him. I think he just said it strangely and it was misconstrued into thinking that the "surprise" actually related to him. I think he just meant he didn't want to ruin anything in the movie because it should be a surprise.

Im guessing that either he WAS meaning he didn't want to ruin any details for the actual movie....OR....it was just complete sarcasm. He was in the viral marketing more than the movie. However, with his role...he's more than capable/able of doing future Bat-films...

They had quite a few actors in this movie that had or have major parts in TV shows or movies but none really fanned out to anything of any significance.

The surprise is that he still has a career.

Wait, did I miss the movie? I thought it premiered 12:01 AM later on tonight (well, the 18th actually) but it seems like most of the people here saw it...

There was a special screening on Tuesday so a handful of us have already seen it.

Man i wish i was in that handfull lol

Oh my God... the $200 million surprise was the damn movie. Why is that so hard for people to understand? HE WAS REFERRING TO THE MOVIE. Jeez, people.

I thought that he was going to be like, Bruce Wayne's rival, that he was always trying to one up Bruce and **** - getting the same car as Bruce, dating hotter girls, etc, etc.

Well that's extremely far from the truth. :oldrazz:

Exactly. I don't know how many times Laderlappen, myself, and a few others have tried to say that.

Didn't Hall even say it was the biggest role in his career?

Doing some video shorts for Comcast isn't anything to get excited for and getting barely a cameo in a movie isn't that much...

i was really let down after the movie in regards to AMH

he couldve stated in an earlier interview that he was a reporter and nothing wouldve been ruined

i was hyped for nothing (in regards to AMH)

Smoke and mirrors. Take into account his participation in the viral marketing and it was a significant contribution to the whole experience. I don't see "Batman: Revenge of the Cable News Guy" being Nolan's next film.

No. Actually he said it was the biggest movie of career, which is probably a very true statement.

Many people here were hyped, luckily I wasn't one of those. :oldrazz:

It's hard for me to imagine being hyped over AMH. I mean nothing against the guy, but come on. "DUDE! AMH RULES!" :whatever:
