The Dark Knight Different DVD Artwork I Found

Photobucket or Imageshack is your best bet.

Welcome to the hype, btw.

welcome

also I think those are different/ and at least one is fake, the cd says its R, and the dvd case says it's PG-13 so those two are seperated and I think the cd is fake that was a mess up

Pretty sure both of them are fake.

The disk picture is stretched and there is a picture of Nolan on the back of the box. Why would they have him on the back instead of The Joker?

and why would Universal be releasing a Warner Bros movie? :P

And also they didnt even digitally remove the wire from Batman on the back of the dvd case where he drops on scarecrow? If you zoom in a bit you can see it...

haha , man I never even saw that in the movie. I just figured Bale was bad ass enough to jump like 30 feet onto a van and crush it naturally.

Director's Commentary by Chris Nolan? Deleted scenes? That's pretty blatantly obvious that it's fan made. I'm not expecting there to be any commentary or deleted scenes. Someone wishes too much.

lol i like the picture of director chris nolan on the back of the dvd cover. you don't see many dvds with picture of the director on the back, but then again he is the star of the new franchise. go nolan!

woah guys looks like there releasing an R rated version of TDK! yaaah! right?

fake. very, very poorly done fake.

as if of all the newspaper quotes they could use, they would use that one....

Didn't trick me for a second... not... one... BIT!

^ Shamelessly plugging my work Jow?

I like that! :funny:

These are custom made. I know that he found these in http://www.allcdcovers.com

When you see the word 'custom' beside the title, it means just that, CUSTOM MADE. Not the official retail version.

These were done by a poster on here...come on.

Of all the things we talk about on these boards, DVD artwork is probably the dullest. Just wanted to say that. I mean seriously, the DVD's are the same artwork as the posters, YAY! Why not just have the poster? I could care less if the DVD came in a plain white case with TDK written on it with a sharpie, I'd pay the same as if the case had a masterpiece on it. I only care about the content of the disk.

Unless of course their is some limited edition collectors item in addition to the disk, that I get.

And don't even get me started on DVD case fan art.

Wow...this thread is still open?

Fake. They wouldn't put the production still of Batman landing on the van with the unfinished FX on the cover. Nor would they have Nolan with the Batsignal- was Nolan a character in the movie? Also- that review is a pretty terrible one to tout on the back---what with all the much more "higher classed" ones out there (cough Ebert/Roeper/Phillips/Tavers cough)

Fake.
