I just learned that there is a director's cut of the film with apparently more disturbing scenes. Will we ever get to see this? I really want to see it some day if possibly!

We already got plenty of disturbing scenes.

:o

But honestly, what else [blackout]other than Norman's head[/blackout] was cut?

I don't know if it'll make the film better than it already is.. But I signed the directors cut for the Harry beatdown, and Oscorp attack scene

A longer Goblin fight with Harry laughing at Gwen's death and Peter beating the ***** out of him.

and there are a couple more alternate Goblin fights.

Apparently a lot of Goblin's scenes were different. For instance, his transformation was more frightening, the final fight was longer and more violent, and he apparently snapped Gwen's neck himself instead of letter her fall to her death.

I am quite glad that this didn't make it into the final product.

They shot many different Gwen's Death scenes I think.

Also, bolded part.

HOW THE ***** COULD THAT BE MORE FRIGHTENING!!? :wow:

There are "ways" :cwink:

I think they had him deliberately shattering his growing teeth in that scene (his teeth grow during the public cut but then when he fights Spiderman they are shortened)

There was a cut where she got impaled. Glad that didn't happen because frozen jokes...

We lost the stuff when Harry shows Peter Oscorp was spying on him...

Oh yeah, I kept waiting for Harry to show Peter that Oscorp had been spying on him and Aunt May. Also, I would have definitely welcomed a longer [blackout]Spider-Man vs Green Goblin fight.[/blackout] That would have been nice.

There should be a version where Gwen lives, then i can give it a 10/10 : p

An even more frightening and gruesome Goblin transformation I am all for seeing, but alternate Gwen Stacy deaths sounds stupid seeing as we got a pretty comic book accurate death minus Norman being the one to toss her and it being at the clock tower, but the way Peter caught with the web, the clothes she wore, and Peter crying out over her death... heartbreaking stuff. Kudos to Webb!

But the only scenes I would like to see are Harry going after the Oscorp board members and Max Dillon and his mother. Wasn't there a rumor he kills his mother as Electro too because she forgets his birthday or is that false? The extended scenes of Harry and Peter discussing 'the question of the day' wouldn't make sense seeing as then Harry would know Peter is Spider-Man earlier, but you can't tell me that Donald Menken or Norman himself had footage of Peter getting bit that they archived.

This shot was advertised in every possible trailer, and it would have been such a great way to introduce the goblin. Pity it will end up as a deleted scene on the bluray.

I think the two hours and twenty minutes released was torture enough. Any more footage would be breaking human rights laws.

There was a cut where Gwen was Spiderman and Peter the clone, shame that they cut it.

I thiiink that was clone saga.

Are you sure that wasn't Ben Reilly, not Gwen?
