Played nearly two hours of what may end up being my personal GOTY. An open world point-and-click adventure/RPG in a detective noir setting with some Pixar's Inside Out.

There's no combat so its gameplay mechanics are heavily based on an innovative dialogue system. Actually, the "fights" are through dice-rolling skill checks. After five minutes into the game, I already died from a heart attack after trying to get my necktie from a ceiling fan because I failed the check on one of my motoric skills. :funny: And later I died again after crashing into an old woman in a wheelchair because I ran away from an awkward conversation with an NPC...

Game definitely feels like a true Planescape: Torment successor. It also reminds me of Sanitarium. I'll ask for my Steam refund and get it on GOG during the holiday sale next month.

Launching on PS4/PS5 and free upgrade to current owners. Can't wait to do a second playthrough.
