My take on AZ is that Gallego has a very good chance of winning, whether or not Harris picks Kelly. First off, I believe there is an abortion rights bill on the ballot. Secondly, Lake is seen as even more unhinged than she was before she lost the election for governor AND she LOST. It's tough to shake that label and tends to dilute the enthusiasm for the candidate. It's not impossible, but difficult to get people to forget losses.

Republicans in the House and Senate kill two bills because Biden wanted them both to eventually sign them. They did it for the same reason they killed the border bill that Biden wanted. Trump wants Biden to have no wins and they deliver for their cult master.
