Schumer should resign if he can't meet the moment and be replaced by Hochul's appointee. His 'aww shucks I just work here what do you want' routine nobody is going to buy, not even Republicans.

Schumer's argument to Chris Hayes was that if the government shuts down, the courts shut down, and right now the courts are the only thing slowing Trump and DOGE down. In no way did Schumer say the bill was good, he said it was horrible. As much as I see Schumer 's point, it's hard to reconcile that with 70 million people losing their health insurance and the domino nightmare effect that follows that. This whole situation is a lose/lose for most Americans.
