🇺🇸 Discussion: General Election 2024, 🥥 VS 🍊

US News
Just something to keep note of, WI just resoundingly defeated 2 constitutional ballot proposals to strip the governor of a lot of their power to allocate federal and general funds. This, despite there not being a major statewide primary going on. I think we can have WI go MI.

Corporate media refuses to focus on the climate crisis to inform voters because it "bums them out" and hurts ratings. This is another reason to have a federal funded news media to cover these kind of issues without corporate interests forcing a narrative.

Damn, that's like the overall national turnout percentage for the 2022 midterm election (46.6%).

1.2 Million sounds so much worse when you consider how many people are on Twitter, how many people on twitter on a regular base see Musks tweets etc.
Then just having 1.2 million viewers when a highly promoted "interview" between Trump and the owner of Twitter is happening...is a sad number no matter how you look at it.

The more desperate Trump and Musk get, the happier it makes me.
