🇺🇸 Discussion: General Election 2024, 🥥 VS 🍊

US News
Not much of a difference in the two polls (3 v 5%) and I'd consider that small of a difference pretty much insignificant. However, what it DOES indicate is that Harris is narrowing the gap. It could be that she's just bringing in Biden voters who were holding out and she's got a ceiling, but who knows....

Looks like even The Cook Report noticed the changed direction of the 2024 election. Madame VP has erased Trump’s lead in all the crucial swing states.

The closer Harris gets to Biden’s 4.5 national popular vote lead in polling the closer to his 306 electoral votes she’d be.

But I caution this: Democratic presidential tickets get overestimated in 2020 (challenger) and 2016 (open). Incumbents tend to get underestimated.

But Trump isn't an incumbent. Technically Harris is...

Pennsylvania:

Harris +3

  • Kamala Harris: -2 (46% favorable, 48% unfavorable)
  • Donald Trump: -9 (44% favorable, 53% unfavorable)
  • Tim Walz: +7 (36% favorable, 29% unfavorable)
  • J.D. Vance: -10 (35% favorable, 45% unfavorable)

So we are, but he's not gonna let it happen... But it already did?

Corporate media refuses to focus on the climate crisis to inform voters because it "bums them out" and hurts ratings. This is another reason to have a federal funded news media to cover these kind of issues without corporate interests forcing a narrative.
Yeah, issues like these need to be neutrally reported, facts only.
