🇺🇸 Discussion: General Election 2024, 🥥 VS 🍊

US News
Trafalgar is a bad pollster but Harris isn’t going to win Michigan by 12 points. Biden barely won it in 2020 when he had a national lead of 4.5 points.

Also even if Trump’s campaign is broke, Republican Super PACs are bombarding states like PA with negative ads.

I didnt expect her to win by 12, but that was the numbers a few weeks ago, granted i dont believe much in polls anyway, we are getting killed here in Ohio with negative ads being run against Sen. Brown, claiming he supported Bidens ultra extreme Liberal agenda, kids getting sex change operations, gas prices 50% higher under Biden, (which isnt even remotely true), these are running everywhere here.

I seem to remember more liberal Super PACs operating 4 years ago than now. I wonder what happened.

Ive seen a couple in support of Brown, but the vast majority support Moreno, trying to paint him as an average joe small business owner, who screwed his employees out of $40,000 in overtime pay and shredded the evidence and was caught doing it, Brown has a small lead here, but again, the majority of Ohio is rural and they vote republican no matter who it is.

I will say, though, Harris is able to mobilize and energize people of MI. The women of MI, Whitmer, Nessel, and Benson won very solid wins. Granted, their opponents didn't motivate their base like Trump, and Israel continues to worry me a bit in some areas. Yeah, I'm not expecting a 10 pt win, but I think Harris is going to win by at least a point.

Because many capitalists prefer dictatorships to democracy where the democracy can regulate and tax you and the dictatorships offer the greedy capitalists less restrictions so long as they protect the dictatorship.

Tariffs == Taxes (sales tax on imported goods)

High tariffs will leave parents with less money for child care.
