I haven’t been paying attention and don’t care about politics. I don’t need to hear about how bad trump is. I’ve already said I’ve never voted republican and never will. Instead of just saying how bad that side is when will I benefit? When will half my paycheck stop going to groceries? When will the cycle of my community stop needing the governments help end? To help us build from within and not look for assistance from anyone. It’s just rinse and repeat and 100 years from now my hood will look exactly the same or worse because all anyone cares about is themselves and not actually helping the people of my community out.

Many blacks from the hood have tried to improve their communities "from within" and failed.

It's like trying to stop the tides from rolling in.

The poor neighborhoods that have changed massively in my experience require better academic options, better career opportunities, major business investment and a crackdown on local gangs/drug organizations.

The problem is all these need to be attempted in synch and that rarely happens because it's very expensive and complicated.

Theoretically local government could organize to make it happen but how do you deal with all the deadbeats, addicts, criminals, the destitute, the unemployed, underemployed people and uncaring parents. You can't turn these people into pillars of the community any more than you can turn a trailer park into Beverly Hills.

June 2024:

Fact Check: No evidence Trump said he will require mandatory military service

Don't know how reliable this is (and I highly doubt that Florida will go Blue this year), but here's a potential map of election night.

Seems overly optimistic, that map shows Ohio as a toss up leaning Trump, he has a 10 point lead here, so Ohio isnt flipping, Florida would take alot to flip that and i simply dont see that happening, ive read that Kamala as a comfortable lead in New Mexico, but i havent seen anything in swing states, the only way Ohio flips is if Trump continues to drag Ohio down with his Haitian racist attacks as many here in Ohio support the Haitian community and this is putting Ohio in a very bad light, but it may be to late to turn opinions here.
