🇺🇸 Discussion: General Election 2024, 🥥 VS 🍊

I wonder what it would take to establish a quorum in the Nebraska legislature and if the Dems could run out the clock and pull what happened in TX awhile back. A move like that could even shore up support for people living in the district because they don't want to be disenfranchised by this maneuver.

EDIT: A majority makes a quorum....oh well...

The deadline for him to resign is passed now & NC GOP is stuck with him.

This is going down quicker than the Hindenburg.
It would be nice to see North Carolina go Blue for the first time since 2008. Not just with the Presidential race, but across the board.

I'd love to believe that, but if I learned anything from 2016, it's that nothing sticks.

NC voters aren’t going to sit this out.

Btw, here’s one video of the lines in VA of people ready on day 1 of early voting (Virginia allows 45 days of early voting since 2020).

That's encouraging to see. Hopefully Kamala Harris will be able to win Virginia this year, like Biden won the state in 2020.

Also, it would be nice in the voters in Texas could get rid of Ted Cruz finally.

Virginia is a light blue state. It briefly went purple for Sweater Vest Youngkin in 2021 but they corrected that mistake by giving Ds full legislative power again last year.

It’s slower and less accurate and these MAGAs shouldn’t be changing rules right before an election.
